Our Story.
8am on tuesday morning we were faced with a problem. A problem that we had to solve. Some are young and some are old...we worked day and night, together and skyped. Two of our members traveled afar, through dedication and communication we still pulled details together. Supporting one another we worked as one to present our project.

Outline::
Alright this is what ive got for everyone...
The UWRF does not have accesibility to convienient workout facilities.
Focus on:
student health-mental and physical
for students, faculty, and staff
accesibility-hours, location, cost
Athletes use these facilities as well as students, they feel superior and entitled to these places.
importance to find a solution because:
the health of students on college campuses is slowly declining
_________________________________________________________________________________
now the UWRF Student Health and Counseling Services has free weekly wellness events (for students, faculty and staff)
mondays: advanced tai chi (12-12:50), mixed level yoga (3:30-4:15)
tuesdays: meditation (3:30-4:30), zumba (4:00-5:00)
wednesdays: beginner tai chi (12:00-12:50)
thursdays: kickboxing (12-1)
these are rediculious times!! I think that if we could get them offered at better times or multiple times even at a cost to students they would use them AND off campus students!
__________________________________________________________________________________
snap: $60 enrollment (usually reduced) $30 a month (you can add tanning)
anytime: and its about $30 but you have to add tanning and personal training

Questions to ask in Researching
1. How many on-campus students would be impacted by the addition of equipment?
2. How much money are these students willing to spend for this equipment?
3. Should we conduct research surveys to find out IF they'd utilize this equipment?
4. How much money would it actually cost to purchase and at what point would they be paid off?
5. Where in each building would the equipment be located?
6. What type of equipment would be best utilized?
7. Are there companies that would donate anything to this cause?
8 What is the percentage of students in the dorms that work out regularly?
9. Do these buildings have any spaces for this type of facility?
10 How would these areas be maintained and cleaned? What if service is necessary?
11. Would there need to be posted hours and a security card for entrance?
Equipment Ideas - Provided there are spaces for a small workout facility in the dorms, here are the ideas for equipment
1. Treadmills
2. Elyptical
3. stationary bike
4. Free weights
5. Jump ropes?
6. mats for stretching
7. Television/s
8. DVD player for P90X
9. spray bottles with towels.

New Topic
We decided to switch to a new a topic; Health, specifically, exercise options and equipment for on-campus students.
Megan is researching what current options are in place.
Kayla is looking into what other campuses have for exercise options.
I am researching equipment and prices.
Michael and Laura are looking into possible solutions.

Can I try Skype this am??
Hey everyone,
I'm at home nursing the start of a nasty little headache. Can I please try skyping with someone so I can be present? I thought it would be a cool thing to try. I am setting my skype up now and then I'll try to connect. Who shall I try?

Lets pick our topic
Hi everyone!
Now that the weather is more cooperative, should we decide on our next meeting so we can narrow down our topic and start working? I really like the ideas we came up with to begin with. Mike do you have any specific security ideas that you'd like us to consider as well? See in you all in class tomorrow.
